Farmer’s rib stitch
For a stitch with lots of textural detail, try farmer’s rib.
Cast on a multiple of 4 sts plus 1. (Try 21 sts.)
Row 1 (RS) P1, *K3, P1; rep from * to end.
Row 2 K2, P1, *K3, P1; rep from * to last 2 sts, K2.
Repeat these 2 rows to desired length.
