So… our afternoon post is a few hours early. Surprise! Fancy meeting you here. After teaming up with Joss & Main on one of our most popular giveaways, they invited us to curate a short sale event on their site. That meant doing a lot of virtual window-shopping—sifting through hundreds of items—and selecting pieces we loved to create a “Young House Love collection” on their platform.
Answer: YESSSSSSS!

We never expected to be called “curators.” Maybe I can claim Curator of Too Many Pins On Pinterest and John can be Curator of Too Many Soda T-shirts. We enthusiastically accepted the offer, then immediately called our parents to beg them to buy something small—because yes, we treated it like an elementary-school bake sale and wanted it to go well.
Getting to assemble a little virtual decor shop for 72 hours was a dream come true for me (I have vivid dreams, often featuring interior designers and fried oreos). We didn’t set the prices, but we aimed to include a range of items—from under-$25 accessories to $250+ furnishings—so there’s something for many budgets. Below is a sampling from our collection available at Joss & Main through October 6th; there’s even more on their site.

To be transparent: Joss & Main pays a small commission to curators and offers a referral bonus to members—standard practice for partnerships and referrals. It’s a little side gig that helps cover expenses, similar to magazine work or book projects, but much more fun. If you’re curious what you’d include in your own curated collection, would you choose typographic prints and maps, bold fabrics in the style of Amy Butler, or playful “library” accents like faux books and magnifying glasses?

That picture always cracks me up. Yes, ladies, that man is all mine.
