… that was Burger’s inspiration for his latest holiday greeting-card photoshoot, which produced this playful mistletoe-themed card we sent to family and friends:

While this year’s “Merry Kissmas” design was a cheerful way to share smooches with our circle, we still have a soft spot for last year’s Rudolph-themed card — a collaboration between a well-behaved posing pup and some playful Photoshop editing:

For both cards we kept the process simple and budget-friendly. We saved the final images as high-quality JPEGs, burned them to a CD, and took the files to a local CVS photo counter. They fit our images into preformatted Kodak holiday card templates, which meant we could print a large batch for only a few cents apiece — an economical way to share a personal, printed greeting.
There’s something special about a physical card: the texture, the handwritten note, and the surprise of opening an envelope. We’ve found that custom photo cards let us showcase family moments and a bit of humor, and the affordable printing options make it easy to reach everyone on our list without breaking the bank.
