Here’s the final installment of our recent gift-sleuthing spree (see part one here and part two here). This time we explored Urban Outfitters, a spot full of cute, quirky, and often budget-friendly gift ideas. Here are the highlights we found:
These sparkly throw pillows look luxe but don’t carry the hefty price tag of similar pieces elsewhere — around $30 compared to a $99 option we spotted at another store.

A $22 collection of “Other People’s Love Letters” gives the same voyeuristic charm as the PostSecret books. They’re perfect for a nightstand or a guest room where visitors can flip through and be entertained.

For the tech lover, these playful iPhone app refrigerator magnets — about $16 — make a humorous stocking stuffer. They might be a bit pricey for what they are, but they’d also be an easy DIY project if you’re crafty.

This delicate canvas print would be a lovely gift for newlyweds or new homeowners. It has a handmade feel and could even be recreated at home with floral fabric, paint, and stencils. I didn’t note the price for this one, unfortunately.

These charming $8 mugs have so much personality. They’re versatile gifts that can be filled with tea, coffee, cookies, biscotti, or even office supplies for a coworker.

We couldn’t resist snapping the quirky band-aids on the left — a perfect little gag gift for someone who appreciates a bit of whimsy — and the mustache-themed item on the right, which is always a crowd pleaser. Both would work well as stocking stuffers. As a side note, those novelty mustache designs are surprisingly elaborate.

We also found a $36 faux chandelier that’s ideal for a fashion-forward friend. It adds glamour without the hassle of wiring, and would look great over an entry table, dining nook, or inside a stylish walk-in closet.

Of course, we had to capture this comical character look — a reminder that funny pop-culture items can make light, memorable gifts.

And a quick photo of John’s baby-wearing outfit-inspired look — goatee and glasses included — because fashion moments like this are worth a chuckle.

Clara was fast asleep during our visit, so she missed the fun. That wraps up our three-store virtual shopping spree — a mix of small, affordable finds and a few splurge-y pieces that felt just right for the season. Time to unpack the rest of our haul.
