We hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. We’re taking some family time but wanted to share this week’s giveaway. Thursday marks our fourth wedding anniversary, which usually means a full-on “Wedding Week” here. Since we’ve already shared many wedding details — our backyard wedding, honeymoon, anniversary traditions, how we met, engagement story, and favorite meaningful mementos — we’re keeping this year’s theme light. The last year was great and we’ll plan something small to celebrate year five. Since this is a sort of “Not” Wedding Week, we teamed up with The Not Wedding for a giveaway. The Not Wedding is an alternative to a bridal show that stages a mock ceremony, sit-down dinner, and dance-filled reception so attendees can sample vendors in a real-ish wedding setting — music, food, cake, and more. This year’s event is on July 21st, and two tickets (including dinner, drinks, and dessert) were part of this week’s prize package.
Understanding that not everyone could travel to Georgia on short notice, The Not Wedding also provided a $150 gift card to their registry sponsor Bloomingdale’s. The winner also received a pearl bridal bracelet and a silk flower hair fascinator (white or ivory) from their accessory sponsor Fine & Fleurie — adding up to over $300 in wedding-related goodies.
