You’ve probably gotten used to our impromptu shopping tours through stores like Target, Ikea, Crate & Barrel, and Anthropologie with a camera in hand. This time we wandered through HomeGoods and couldn’t resist photographing the standout finds—great style with wallet-friendly prices. Here are the pieces that caught our eye on this visit to the decor treasure trove known as HomeGoods.
This striking white cut-out urn is almost a piece of sculpture when centered on a large dining table or displayed on a console or buffet. At nearly two feet tall, it feels high-end, yet it was priced at just $55—far less than similar pieces we’ve seen listed for $100 to $150.

We also spotted a smaller cut-out urn in a playful mustard shade. At $25, it would add a Moroccan-inspired accent to a console, bookshelf, or bathroom display. Its color and texture would work beautifully with natural elements like sea sponges or woven trays.

A $12 hot-pink Buddha brought a smile—an easy way to add a pop of color and a quirky, curated feel when placed atop a stack of hardcover books or mixed into a bookshelf vignette with other eclectic accessories.

Not everyone loves ceramic animals, but I was smitten with these oversized white lacquered greyhounds. At $39 each, they felt like a chic, slightly tongue-in-cheek addition to a growing collection of ceramic animals.

Of course, not every animal accent is a winner. We found some oddball pieces too—like a cat figurine holding a basket with a tiny kitten in its mouth. Moments like that make shopping fun; you never know what quirky discovery is around the corner.

There was a large round mirror that reminded us of a painted nursery mirror but with a softer, more rounded white frame. Priced at $39, it’s an affordable way to add light and interest to a room without breaking the bank.

HomeGoods is a solid spot for affordable wall art. We found a large, ready-to-hang canvas for $49—an instant focal point that doesn’t cost a fortune.

A sweet frame with a coral, beachy vibe was priced at $6.99. It’s simple, versatile, and would suit a bedside table, home office, or coastal-inspired nook.

We loved a romantic ruffled pillow that felt luxurious thanks to raw-silk detailing and a trendy green-yellow hue. At $14 (marked down from around $60), it was an excellent bargain for an on-trend accent.

Small woven-sleeve glasses caught our attention too. At $2.99 each, they’re a smart, budget-friendly way to introduce texture—use them as drinking glasses, small vases, votive holders, or bathroom organizers for cotton balls and Q-tips.

Initial mugs that echoed Anthropologie’s style were just $3.99 each. They’d make cute pen holders on a desk or personalized toothbrush holders in a monochrome bathroom.

Chantal tea kettles in glossy colors were available for $24. They’re an easy, functional way to add color to a kitchen—leave one on the stove as a cheerful accent and use it for tea when guests arrive.

The towel selection was notable, with prints that echoed vintage hex-tile patterns and a soothing palette of soft blue, white, tan, and mocha. Practical finds that can subtly lift a bathroom’s style.

Where HomeGoods really shines is lighting. Their lamp selection is consistently inspiring and affordable. We loved a large, cheerful yellow lamp listed at $49—bold, sizable, and much less expensive than similar pieces elsewhere. Another curvy blue lamp was priced at $39; two of those flanking a bed or sofa could transform a room for a fraction of the usual cost.
