Dates can be inaccurate
These services rely on embedded metadata to sort chronologically. Scanned prints will inherit the scan date unless you edit the date after upload, so your chronological order can be disrupted. You can batch-edit dates, but it takes time if you want accuracy.

Old and new photos may mix
Without careful date edits, old scans can get mixed among recent phone photos. One workaround is to keep scanned archives in a separate account or library from your everyday phone photo stream so historical images stay distinct.
