Our house.
Right now a crew of ten is here shooting a glossy magazine feature about our home. This time the team includes a hair and makeup artist and a wardrobe stylist — which makes us feel equal parts excited and self-conscious (fingers crossed we don’t look like giant nerds on camera!). The rest of the group includes the wardrobe assistant, the photographer and his two assistants, a creative director, a prop stylist and assistant, plus a videographer. Burger is making friends with everyone and dutifully follows the hustle of reflectors, tripods, and pillows. In short: it’s chaos. Beautiful, orchid-filled chaos. We wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s honestly more fun than a barrel of monkeys. We’ll share more when we can, but for now here’s a hint about which magazine we’ll appear in next April. Take a look at this clue:
