When Ania sent us her beautiful after photos (inspired by the mood board we created for her last month) we couldn’t wait to share the results. Before-and-after reveals are always a favorite, and Ania did a fantastic job transforming her space. Here’s the note she sent:
Here are a few after pictures that I took for you! Needless to say, we LOVE our new living and dining room area. I can’t believe I ever had doubts about the bentwood chairs or the media stand. They are honestly my favorite items that we purchased. We L-O-V-E everything. From the frame collage to the chandelier to the sofa table… everything! Thank you soooooo much for the design advice. It feels like a completely transformed space and we love to spend time here. Amazing! You two truly have a gift. You will definitely be hearing from me again. Oh man do I have some more ugly rooms for you! Best, Ania
To refresh your memory, here are the before photos of the space:

Ania wanted furnishings that felt less boxy and matchy—more beachy, modern, and a bit glamorous. We put together a mood board to add polish and breezy style to the living and dining areas. The goal was a lighter, more layered look with interesting textures and a relaxed yet refined vibe.
But enough previewing—let’s get to the after photos:

Ania’s transformation is stunning. My personal favorites are the medallion curtains and the white pedestal table topped by a capiz chandelier — the breakfast nook now feels airy and elegant. The space retains its personality while feeling much more polished and intentional.
The L-shaped gallery wall of frames is another win. Ania executed it flawlessly; the arrangement adds visual interest without overwhelming the room. It’s rewarding to see a plan come together so quickly—she returned these after photos within a month, which is impressive.
Let’s give Ania a round of applause for sharing her beautiful update. We hope more Design Dilemma transformations will land in our inbox soon—seeing real rooms evolve is always inspiring.
Update: We no longer offer commissioned mood boards, but we do create general inspiration boards. If that ever changes, we’ll announce it.
