When we featured Lindsay’s kitchen makeover as a Reader Redesign back in October, we never imagined that Kitchen Makeovers (a special interest publication from Better Homes & Gardens) would reach out to her. They saw her before-and-after photos on our blog and wanted to feature her kitchen. We were thrilled, and Lindsay — who welcomed a baby just a few weeks earlier — was excited to learn her kitchen would be showcased.
A few months later, her budget-friendly makeover appeared in their Spring 2009 issue in a column called “Do It For Less.” And true to the column’s name, Lindsay really did it for less: she spent only about $50 on primer and paint, yet her refreshed cabinets look like a high-end renovation.
