I was finally ready to buy the Coco mirror from West Elm that I’ve been dreaming about for ages. We’re moving soon, but it’s a timeless piece that would work in this house or the next, so I decided to treat myself—$199 seemed reasonable for something I’m almost certain would bring me joy for years. I’m usually too frugal to pay full price, even for items I love, but I gave myself a pep talk and prepared to splurge.
Then I clicked the link and saw it was out of stock. I was so disappointed.
