2012 Holiday Gift Guide for Women: Stylish Ideas She’ll Love

Aw, yeah. I put together a holiday mood board for moms (and any other women who like cute, useful things). Here are the pieces I’m loving right now—great as gifts for friends, sisters, or to find under your own tree. I’ve mixed in plenty of budget-friendly picks (many under $15), several items under $30, and a couple of slightly pricier treats—nothing over $65.

1. This playful watch from Anthropologie is super cute and would make a thoughtful shared gift. At $58, it’s an easy split between two people if you’re pooling for sibling or in-law presents.

2. A brightly colored clutch for $48 is my jam. I’d use it inside my oversized purse to keep everything organized, then pull it out when I want to travel light for an evening.

3. I already own one of these leather keychain tassels and it probably saves me ten minutes a day—my keys are so much easier to find now. Also, I’m a sucker for grellow tones.

4. This pom-pom hat from Target is under $23 and flatters almost everyone. Cozy and cute without breaking the bank.

5. I can’t say enough about this $30 leopard bracelet—simple, stylish, and it instantly makes an outfit feel dressier.

6. How lovely would one (or three) of these votive holders look, all warm and glowing on a mantel or windowsill? They’re on sale now. I’d grab a small $19 one, bake some cookies, and gift them together—coziness to me equals a candle flicker plus cookies.

7. I’ve been dropping hints about a pair of Kendra Scott earrings in a rich emerald shade—I’d utterly swoon over them. I received a different set last year and have worn them nonstop ever since.

8. I love big earrings, but I don’t think they have to be expensive. Plenty of my favorites are under $8, including a pretty pair from Target that looks way pricier than it is.

9. My favorite nail polish brand is eco-friendly and long-lasting. These three shades feel festive for the holidays and wear beautifully—classic choices for manicures or gifts.

10. John and I keep a small collection of capiz frames with photos from each anniversary. Even though our next anniversary is months away, I’m always scanning for pretty capiz frames—round styles are my favorite. Pro tip: I often find them in Anthro’s clearance bins for under ten dollars.

There you have it—Momma’s holiday gift list for the ladies: practical, pretty, and mostly affordable.

Update: Check out our favorite holiday decor picks—many are under $15!
