It’s finally here: the first of our three before-and-after features in BHG’s Do It Yourself Magazine has just hit newsstands.
You might remember we mentioned the two-day photo shoot last October and later shared the lessons we learned from watching professional stylists transform each room in our home. Now we’re excited to share the results of that work—ten glossy pages showcasing the full project.
We’re particularly proud of this feature because we wrote it ourselves—our first national magazine writing gig. The Spring 2009 issue is available at major retailers and newsstands; if you’re hunting for it, be sure to grab the Spring issue rather than any remaining Winter 2008 copies.
Some of the before photos may look familiar, but the fresh styling of the after images gives each space a different feel. The issue also includes a range of other inspiring projects, from dramatic bathroom makeovers to a charming Los Angeles cottage transformation, plus practical painting tips you can use right away.
