I’m a longtime reader and wanted to share the transformation of the second floor of our house. When we bought it, the house was divided into two apartments: the first floor and the second floor. The family room was completely reimagined into a cozy, stylish gathering area. Highlights include a cowhide rug, a parson’s desk, and a charming tree tucked into the dormer nook:

This thoughtful renovation turned a separated apartment into a cohesive, livable second floor filled with personality and smart design choices. Thanks to Brooke for sharing the full makeover—every detail looks intentional and inviting.
