When Jessica sent us photos of her attic makeover, we were stunned by how she transformed the third floor from an unfinished storage area into a stylish, functional living space. Here is her note to us:
I’ve been following your before-and-after stories for a while and I love seeing renovations that preserve a home’s character while adding modern comforts. We recently renovated our entire 1910 house to combine those two goals. Our proudest accomplishment is the attic. Before we moved in, it was an unfinished, wasted area. Now it’s our favorite hangout—a cozy spot for watching TV, reading, and relaxing. I wanted to share the photos and hope you enjoy the before-and-after as much as we do. — Jessica
Do we love it? Absolutely. Jessica did a wonderful job turning unusable space into a warm, inviting room that complements her vintage home. If only our own attic had a similar ceiling height, we’d be scheduling our contractor right away.
