We finished preparing our second guest bedroom just in time for tonight’s family visit. A few days ago we shared the new daybed and cozy reading corner; now we can reveal the room dressed up with a few bold accessories that give it extra personality.
To my surprise, John agreed to two fuzzy leopard pillows — and that’s saying something, since he usually isn’t a fan of animal prints. Adding a woven basket filled with books, a pair of furry leopard slippers, and pops of turquoise (a throw on the chair and a book on the ottoman) transformed the space into a warm, inviting spot that practically calls out “be our guest” with the charming flair of a French accent.
