New T-Shirt Collection—Back by Popular Demand

Over a decade ago we launched a small t‑shirt line with designs for women, men and—even dogs. Yes, really. We eventually retired it, so there may still be a few floating around—my dad kept a bunch (he was our best customer) and one even turned up at a book signing in 2015.

Earlier this year we got the itch to bring the line back, but with a different focus: less logo-driven merch and more tees that fit naturally into anyone’s closet while still carrying a Young House Love vibe.

We spent months refining designs, testing cuts and fabrics, and even “test-wearing” them around the house. Today we’re excited to reveal the refreshed collection—complete with a short video that showcases the full line. If you can, press play to watch it.

Note: If you can’t view the video here, watch it on YouTube.

If you can’t watch right now, come back later—meanwhile here’s a quick summary. You might already have spotted us wearing a few of the new tees in recent photos and on Instagram. Sherry’s top pick is the Classic Black, though she’s also been reaching for the Onyx option a lot. I usually grab the Midnight tee, but lately Extreme Gray has been in heavy rotation.

For those who like bolder looks, we added a few patterned variations. The Black-on-Black Stripe offers subtle texture, while the Black Ombre fades gently from one deep tone to another for understated interest.

Sherry, a Jersey native, insisted we include animal print because she swears it’s a neutral. We added Panther and Raven prints for her and anyone else who loves that vibe. For men we offer Stallion, our take on a bold animal pattern—Sherry claims it brings out my wild side (placebo or not, I like it).

We also launched with a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE promotion—perfect for grabbing a tee for yourself and one for a friend. It’s a fun way to accidentally coordinate and look like you’re sharing a two-person shirt with too many armholes.

We’ve passed samples to friends for feedback and the reactions have been amusingly consistent: “Wow, they’re all the same shirt!” and “Wait, aren’t they all the same shirt?”—followed by mock demands for refunds. Spoiler: no refunds—because we’re confident you’ll love them.

If you want real blogger t‑shirt lines, here are a few that we genuinely like. Sherry owns the one in the middle and even bought a second for our daughter because she loves it so much.
