As we mentioned last month, the team at Richmond’s beloved shelter pub invited us to be regular contributors. Beginning with this Nov/Dec issue, look for our new “Try This” column, packed with fresh and simple DIY decorating ideas. For the holidays, we focused on creative and unexpected ways to decorate using a timeless favorite: Christmas ball ornaments.
If you don’t live in Richmond, don’t worry—we’ll share all of the ornament how-tos and details here as the holidays approach. The one thing you’ll miss from the print issue are the glossy, professional photos (they turned out great), but we captured plenty of behind-the-scenes shots ourselves. We’ll post those images alongside each project so you can recreate the looks at home.
