We’ve added new after photos from several angles to our house tour page, and included some never-before-seen before pictures. Because readers often ask to see the other side of our living room and den, we waited for a sunny day to shoot photos from angles we hadn’t shared. And since we love a good before-and-after, we’re showing what each room looked like previously as well.
Take our living room, for example. Here it is the night we moved in:
And here is almost the same angle now. I removed that hideous divider while John was at work and peeled back a weird linoleum square to reveal hardwood floors underneath.
We can’t forget the dark, dated den. Here it is from another angle during our first walk-through (that’s our realtor in the doorway):
And here it is now: we widened the doorway to the sunroom and kitchen, replaced the faux-parquet linoleum with hardwood floors, removed a dated wall sconce, and added several coats of paint.
