Today we’re celebrating a doggie birthday: Hamburger “Burger” Petersik turns two. We spent the day treating him to a few special things, including a stop at Three Dog Bakery for a birthday treat and a new harness that’s gentler on his small neck than the collar we’d been using. Here’s the birthday boy enjoying his cake.
It feels like only yesterday we brought home a tiny two-pound, two-month-old puppy who had no idea he’d signed up for two years of home renovation — and a lifetime of online attention.
Speaking of renovation, take a look at our former kitchen floor in the photo above. That was the new vinyl tile we installed over the tacky linoleum that came with the house. We’ve promised a vinyl floor installation tutorial, and we still plan to share it — just not today, since we’re busy spoiling our pup.
