You might be wondering why we put up our Christmas decorations so early this year.
We’re excited to share that we’ve been invited to write a regular column for R. Home magazine, Richmond’s bi-monthly home and design publication. After they discovered our blog last spring and featured our before-and-after story earlier this summer, the editors asked us to contribute ongoing pieces, beginning with their upcoming holiday issue—hence the early ornaments.
This is a wonderful chance to expand beyond the blog and reach readers in print. The photoshoot for the feature went smoothly, and we’re looking forward to the new challenges and creative opportunities that come with working in a glossy magazine.
The issue will appear in local mailboxes and on newsstands in November. If you don’t live in Richmond, don’t worry — we’ll share our holiday content online here as well once the season arrives and the weather turns cooler.
