Colorful Glass Cups on Sale — Shop Stylish Glassware Deals

Many of you know I keep a giant binder full of clear plastic sleeves where I stash tear sheets from magazines, catalogs, and other sources of inspiration (I’ve written before about how I organize that binder).

One torn magazine corner that’s lived in that binder for years features a photo from Elle Decor of vintage‑style glasses in green, yellow, blue, and pink. The recessed designs give them a sea‑glass quality that I’ve always loved. They were credited to a high‑end shop and listed at about $13 each, which felt steep for simple drinking glasses. Still, I kept the clipping because they were that pretty — call it a case of design‑inspiration attachment.

Then, serendipity struck one weekend.

I found almost identical glasses at World Market — for just $2.99 each. They came in clear, green, blue, and pink, and we picked up three green and three blue since those tones suit our home. I’m excited to use them at our next get‑together: the mixed colors and subtle layered tones make for a lively, cohesive table. There’s something about drinking from green and blue glasses with a fleur‑de‑lis motif that feels unexpectedly luxe.

John has a strict rule against buying things we won’t use regularly, which helps keep our cabinets free of “only for special occasions” pieces. That means these glasses needed to earn their place right away. In the last few days I’ve reached for one whenever I’ve wanted lemonade or chocolate milk, and they’ve genuinely made everyday drinks feel a little more special — a nice upgrade from the clear Ikea tumblers I used to use. I’m even tempted to go back for more, since they’d double well as votive holders or pencil cups on my desk. I love items that multitask and still look great.

Spending $18 for six of these felt like a win compared with the designer price: six of the original style would have been around $78. We also spotted a similar pair at Anthropologie for about $6 each, which is better than the $13 original but still double the World Market price. For now, our $2.99 finds are the best bargain we’ve seen for this look.

So that’s our recent glassware victory — cheers to hunting down style for less. Have you ever tracked down a near‑perfect match for a pricier item and felt thrilled about the score? I’d love to hear about your best look‑for‑less discoveries.
