Yesterday marked our sixth wedding anniversary, and to celebrate the memory of our 7/7/07 wedding we’re hosting a special giveaway that blends the traditional gifts for the first anniversary (paper) and the sixth (sugar). After all, 1 + 6 = 7 — and we like to find ways to work a seven into things. First up is a generous prize from Rifle Paper Company. We used to hang some of their city art in our hallway, so we were thrilled when they donated a $500 gift card for one lucky reader. Choose from their art prints, stationery, wrapping paper, iPhone cases, recipe boxes, or any number of other beautiful items. We especially love the personalized heart print pictured below.
For a sweet complement, one of our favorite bakers, Snickety-Snacks, is donating $200 worth of customized treats. You might recall the dragon cookies they made for Clara’s birthday — delicious and delightfully detailed. Snickety-Snacks can create treats inspired by any color scheme, theme, or party idea. If you’re local to Northern Virginia, they also offer cakes and other specialty orders.
