Time to give away another free item — and this time we’re reaching back to a classic look. The giveaway features vintage-inspired light fixtures from Schoolhouse Electric.
We’ve long admired Schoolhouse Electric’s designs, and even spotted a few of their fixtures in person when we visited Christi and Barrett’s transformed home in Charlotte — notice the pendants above the kitchen island. Their range of pendants, sconces, shades and ceiling lights channels several period styles while also offering modern options. Many of their glass shades are hand-blown and hand-painted, honoring traditional manufacturing techniques.
For this giveaway we’re offering one Otis 4 ceiling-mount fixture in satin nickel with a modern aqua glass shade — a prize valued at $162. Below is a closer look at the fixture:
To enter, comment on this post with the words “SCHOOL ME.” For fun, tell us your favorite and least favorite subjects from school (for example: “My favorite was definitely recess, but my least favorite had to be chemistry.”). One entry per e-mail address. This giveaway is open to residents of the lower 48 US states only. Entries are accepted until 8pm EST on Wednesday, Dec 10th, and we’ll announce the winner later that week.
