Roeshel’s powder room transformed beautifully thanks to her refined taste and her husband Russ’s handiwork. Below she shares the story and photos of the makeover:

I’m a big fan of your blog (I read it every day) and wanted to share the before-and-after photos of our powder room. Your blog often inspires me — I think you’d approve! Haha.

I’m so proud of Russ for all his hard work — thank you so much! — Roeshel

The final result is elegant and welcoming, with a soft neutral palette and sparkling details that make the small space feel special. The Benjamin Moore Smoke walls provide a warm, smoky backdrop that contrasts nicely with the crisp Designer White trim. The chosen tile and the pedestal sink create a classic foundation, while the teardrop crystal chandelier and floral curtain add personality and a hint of glamour.

Practical touches, like the Pegasus faucet and the Kingston mirror shelf, keep the room functional. Decorative accents — a pitcher and basin from HomeGoods, small bud vases, and Caldrea soap — give the room a polished, lived-in look. Roeshel also highlights a favorite wall hook that adds charm and convenience.

We love this makeover and couldn’t help smiling when we noticed the same teardrop chandelier in our own half bath. Beautiful work by Roeshel and Russ — a small space turned into a stylish, well-executed powder room.
