Sherry is now three weeks away from her due date (May 19), so we thought it was the perfect time to start a lighthearted baby pool. As with any classic baby pool, we’re inviting guesses about when our little girl will arrive.
To make things even more fun, we paired the pool with a home-decor prize: an $100 gift card to West Elm. It may not be strictly baby-themed, but we wanted everyone to be excited to join in—whether you have a baby or not. We were thrilled when West Elm generously offered the gift card to one lucky reader. We love their aesthetic and use many of their pieces in our home.

Here’s how the baby pool works:
- Comment on this post with the DATE you think our baby girl will arrive. You don’t need to guess a time or weight (though you can if you like). For fun, feel free to include your current favorite West Elm item.
- The pool stays open until we announce Baby P’s arrival. You can guess now or wait, but note that we won’t be sharing the exact moment of birth, so waiting may risk missing out.
- After we’ve had time to recover from delivery day, we’ll use random.org to select ONE WINNER from everyone who guessed the correct date.
- The $100 West Elm gift card is available to participants in the USA. As always, only one entry per email address is allowed.
