When we saw Liv’s incredible bathroom transformation, we were excited to share her husband’s handiwork. Here’s the note she sent us:
I love your site—seriously, love it. My husband and I are slowly remodeling our Pink House in Utah, and the project has been long and challenging. He taught himself nearly everything about home renovation, and I had to brag about his work. After reading a thorough plumbing book, he replaced every single pipe in the house. The originals dated back to 1924 and were rusted, leaking, and clogged. He learned about PEX plumbing, drainage slopes, and all the technical details, then spent countless hours in a tight crawlspace to build a beautiful bathroom for me.
It’s not totally finished yet, but it’s almost fully functional—there’s only a small sink leak keeping it from being completely operational. Even so, it’s amazing. I’m so proud of how well he did this. Living in a construction zone can be frustrating at times, but I’m grateful for the progress happening in our little Pink House.
Thanks for showcasing projects from readers and the community. Seeing others’ progress reminds me to be patient; one day my remodel will be done too. I always appreciate the inspiration and motivation your site provides. — Liv

And the fun, stylish “after”:

We applaud Liv’s husband for his exceptional craftsmanship, and we suspect Liv played a big role in the charming decor—kudos to both of them. Thanks for sharing this transformation. If any readers have fresh before-and-after photos of their own renovations, send them our way—we love seeing this kind of work.
