Listen on iTunes | Google Play | TuneIn Radio | Pocket Casts | Stitcher
You can find our latest episode (a new one posts every Monday) and all previous episodes—there are over 50 available. If you already listen to podcasts, subscribe on iTunes, Google Play, TuneIn Radio, Pocket Casts, or Stitcher to download and keep every episode. If podcasts are new to you, don’t worry—listening is free and easy. Below is a quick guide to help you get started.

Getting Started with Podcasts
Podcasts are like on-demand talk radio: you pick the show and episode you want and play it when it’s convenient. They work great while commuting, doing chores, exercising, painting, or any time you want hands-free entertainment or information. You can pause, rewind, and resume whenever you need.
To save mobile data, subscribe so episodes download automatically over Wi‑Fi. Once downloaded to your device, episodes play offline without using cellular data—perfect for areas with limited service or when you want to avoid streaming on the go.
We usually listen with the iTunes Podcasts app on iPhone or iPad (the purple icon). If you’re new to the Podcasts app, follow these seven simple steps to subscribe to Young House Love Has A Podcast.

To subscribe on an iPhone using the Podcasts app:
- Step 1. Open the Podcasts app and tap the magnifying glass in the bottom-right corner to Search.
- Step 2. Enter “Young House Love Has A Podcast” in the search bar at the top.
- Step 3. Tap our show’s cover art when it appears in the results.

- Step 4. On the Young House Love Has A Podcast page, tap Subscribe. Subscribing is free and ensures you won’t miss new episodes.
- Step 5. New episodes may download automatically. To make sure you have episodes offline, tap the download icon (cloud with a down arrow) next to each episode you want to save. This allows listening without data usage.

- Step 6. Open the Unplayed section in the bottom-left to view downloaded episodes you haven’t listened to yet.
- Step 7. Tap the episode you want to play and it will start immediately.

Once you’re subscribed, new episodes should appear automatically each Monday in the Podcasts app’s Unplayed section. Tap the purple Podcasts icon, go to Unplayed, and your latest episode will be ready to play—downloaded and ready without using mobile data.
Explore other shows from the Featured or Top Charts tabs at the bottom of the screen. There’s a podcast for almost every interest—true crime, pop culture, news, wellness, parenting, entrepreneurship, and more.
Note: You can also stream the podcast on a computer using iTunes. If you’re on a PC without iTunes, install it for free, then search for our show in the iTunes store. Android users can download podcast apps such as Stitcher, TuneIn Radio, or Pocket Casts to subscribe and listen.
That covers the basics. If you’re curious what I do in the evenings, the answer is usually: play with the microphone and try to lower my voice so I sound like James Earl Jones.
